Neodymium magnet with release knob
Neodymium magnets are characterized by a much greater attraction force in relation to their mass than traditional ferrite magnets. The magnet release knob allows you to quickly reposition the tripod without having to forcefully detach it from the ground, which reduces the risk of shifting the measured element.
Prismatic groove in the base
The prismatic groove (V-shaped) allows the base to be securely supported on cylindrical surfaces – shafts, pipes or flanges. Without this element, mounting the tripod on rounded surfaces would be unstable and could lead to reading errors.
Multi-articulated arm with clamps
The joint system with individual clamps allows you to position the arm tip at any point in the space within reach of the tripod. After tightening the clamps, the structure retains rigidity, eliminating vibrations and creep that would falsify the measurement result.
Internal thread M8
M8 thread is a standard used in the vast majority of clock sensors available on the market. Before buying, it is worth verifying the specification of your sensor – manufacturers are less likely to use M6 or M10 threads, but these differences exclude direct installation without an adapter.
