Sanity Basic Standard Shoulder Blood Pressure Monitor

Sanity Basic Standard Blood Pressure Monitor MD 5940 is a medical device for measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressure in adults. The device uses a non-invasive oscillometric method, in which the pumped cuff is applied around the arm. The device is designed for daily measurement of blood pressure. Also indicated for people suffering from hypertension, diabetics, with congenital or acquired heart defects and after a heart attack.

The Basic Standard Sanity MD 5940 shoulder blood pressure monitor enables self-control of blood pressure at home. The device is equipped with a clear screen, measurement memory for two people and the function of averaging measurements.

How to take a measurement?

Use according to the instruction manual included in the package.

1. Wrap the cuff exactly around the arm, with the cord on the inside of the hand. The cuff is correctly put on if you can slide your finger freely between the shoulder and the material.
2. Sit comfortably, putting your forearm on a flat surface (as in the picture). Remember that the cuff, put on the shoulder, is on the heart line.
3. Turn on the start button. The measurement will start automatically, and after a while the result will be displayed on the screen. If arrhythmias are detected, a heart sign will appear on the screen.
