Novama Expert LPMS is an analyzer for determining the lipid profile. It is adapted for self-measurement at home, as well as for use in a professional environment – hospital, clinic – by medical workers.

Fast measurement in less than 2 minutes indicates from a blood sample - capillary, venous, serum or plasma - cholesterol total (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, triglyceride (TG), TC/HDL and low density lipoprotein cholesterol).

The complete set of lipidometer for in vitro diagnosis includes an analyzer, lancets, lancet, capper, test strips with chip and case, which allows for quick action, right out of the box. Convenient and quick examination

The action of the lipidometer Novama Expert LPMS is similar to the glucose meter – a small blood sample is enough to be able to fully examine the essential parameters of the body. The apparatus measures both from blood from the finger (capillary/capillary), from venous blood and from serum and plasma.

Depending on the type of sample, you need to change the device settings. Results are given in mg/dL unit (milligram per deciliter) or mmol/L unit (millimol per litre).

Accurate Measurement with Calibration

The test strips included in the kit allow you to start testing immediately and ensure high measurement accuracy. The coding chip is pre-installed, however, with each new package of strips, it must be replaced and you should ensure that its number matches the number on the analyzer and on the strip container.

The strips use a dry chemistry method (colorimetry) to determine TC, HDL, and TG in whole blood, serum, or plasma. LDL concentration is calculated based on the obtained results. After applying the sample, the analyzer reads the color change of the membrane and converts it into concentration values.

Act freely with two power options – battery, using the included 3xAAA batteries, or using a USB-C cable with the batteries removed (outside the set). The lipidometer indicates a low level of power supply with the symbol of the battery that appears on the screen until it is replaced, which is helpful for the user and reminds them to maintain the continuity of power supply.

Disinfection and cleaning

To clean the analyzer, remove the test strip holder by pressing down and extending the handle from the analyzer. Then simply wipe the device with a damp cloth, a soft cloth soaked in a small amount of medical alcohol or a mild detergent and slide the handle back in until it snaps into place.
