Antles are a natural and healthy teether for your dog!

The fallow deer antler version is a proposal for smaller dogs with less strength. The fallow antlers have a flatter shape, which will make them a little softer than deer antlers. Of course, still it is a very hard material and will provide your dog with a long time of fun!

Dogs are most interested in the inner part of the teether - the marrow. That's what they're gonna try to eat, and you should let them. It is rich in protein, collagen, lime, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and potassium.

For some dogs, the big advantage of deer antler teethers, compared to those from deer antler, will be their relatively flat shape. It will be easier for smaller dogs to grab them in the teeth to get inside them!

Tip: If your dog didn’t love the teether at first sight, then nothing is lost. Dip the teether for a few minutes in boiling water. A lot of antler aroma will then be released, which should quickly tempt the dog to bite.

Remember that your dog should always use a teether under your supervision!

After a long time of play, strong dogs can chip off smaller fragments of the hard, outer part of the teether. This is a natural process for any antlers teether. Be sure to take them and throw them away so that they are not swallowed by the dog.

It is also worth bearing in mind that antlers are not suitable for puppies (up to about 8 months of age) and for senior dogs - it is too hard for their teeth. Antlements are also not suitable for dogs that bite aggressively, hard and quickly. Very aggressive biting of such a hard teether can lead to a tooth fracture.

How to choose the size of the teether?

If you do not know how to choose the right size teether, then we have prepared a simple table that will help you choose.

In the table we suggest how to choose the size depending on the weight of the dog. But it is also worth taking a ruler and trying to visualize whether the length of a given size will not be too small in relation to your dog's mouth.

This is very important, because if the teether is too small, the dog may try to swallow it whole. And that could be dangerous and threaten to choke.

Antlers from discharges

The antlers we use come from the discharges. Once a year, in the spring, deer animals shed antlers themselves. This is a completely natural process, harmless to animals! After the deer has shed its antlers, the process of its regeneration and growth begins, and after about 4 months it reappears in full form.

Such shed antlers are collected and then transported to our manufactory. There, we subject them to quality control, and then they are washed with pressurized water and steam sterilized. The raw material prepared in this way is carefully cut, sanded and subjected to another quality control. Because the safety of your dog is the most important thing to us!

Fun fact: Did you know that - contrary to popular opinion - the number of regrowths on deer antlers does not indicate its age? It was once thought that every year deer grow one more regrowth. However, the truth is that their amount depends on the nutrition and living conditions of a particular individual.

• Envelopes for recyclave and recycling! Our shipments are packed in special protective envelopes, which were made of recycled materials (≥ 70%) and grass! After separating the outer and inner layers, they are recyclable again!
• Paper tape! If you need tape, we only use strong paper tape!
• We minimize packaging! We try to generate as little rubbish as possible. Only where it is really needed, we pack the products in foil. In other cases, we limit ourselves only to the tag, which we glue with a safe food glue!
