IP-MAC-Port-VID binding, port protection, Storm Control and DHCP Snooping are the features of the TL-SG2218 switch that protect your network from threats. The device also gives you the ability to define the most common DoS attacks, so you can detect and prevent them early. In contrast, the ACL function (L2 to L4) applies when blocking access to specific network resources. The packet submission denied can be set for specific source or destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or VLAN IDs. In addition, the switch uses 802.1X encryption in conjunction with RADIUS/Tacacs+ server functions to authenticate users seeking access to the network.

Functions of the L2+ layer

Thanks to the extensive layer two functions, including support for 802.1Q tag VLAN, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, port aggregation and 802.3x flow control, TL-SG2218 switches are characterized by versatility of operation.
