• Effective security

  IP-MAC-Port-VID binding, port protection, Storm Control and DHCP Snooping are the features of the SG3218XP-M2 switch that protect the network from threats. The device also gives you the ability to define the most common DoS attacks, so you can detect and prevent them early. In contrast, the ACL function (L2 to L4) applies when blocking access to specific network resources. The packet submission denied can be set for specific source or destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or VLAN IDs. In addition, the switch uses the 802.1X protocol, which works in conjunction with the functions of the RADIUS/Tacacs+ server, to authenticate users seeking access to the network.
