Powerful 802.3bt PoE++ ultra-high power managed switch
PLANET GS-6322-24P4X fully managed 802.3bt PoE++ switch with expandable two modular power sockets supports energy management efficiency and flexibility in large networks such as enterprises, hotels, shopping malls, government buildings and other public places. It supports rich PoE modes, including 24 90-watt Type-4 PoE++ 802.3bt ports, 95-watt PoH (Power over HD-BASE-T) mode, and 4-pair extortion mode, to solve the problem of non-compliance of custom 4-pair PD PoE in the field. With a total power budget of up to 2280W for various types of heavy PoE applications, the GS-6322-24P4X provides a fast, secure and cost-effective 802.3bt PoE networking solution for small businesses and enterprises.
Pull-out power module for increased flexibility
The GS-6322-24P4X is designed with two power module slots that can support Redundant Power Supply (RPS) mode or Extended Power Supply (EPS) mode through software settings to meet the requirements of power redundancy or additional power supply for PoE++ ports as needed.
RPS mode (1+1): Where critical services are supported by a PoE application, a second power supply is needed to provide backup power in the event of a power outage. When two power supplies are installed, the power budget is the same as for one power supply.
EPS mode (2+0): In case a larger PoE budget is required to support a complete application, a second power supply can provide additional PoE power. Two power supplies together are able to provide maximum total PoE power.

The GS-6322-24P4X can work with three optional 920W/1200W/2000W AC power supplies. Users can flexibly use one or two power supplies depending on the application. Its flexible redundant and extended power system is specifically designed for high-tech facilities requiring the highest power integrity.
90~95-Watt 802.3bt PoE++ and advanced PoE power mode management
The GS-6322-24P4X switch is IEEE 802 compliant. bt PoE++ and PoH technology, so it is able to deliver up to 95W of power, using all four pairs of standard Cat5e/6 Ethernet cabling to deliver power and data at full speed to any PoE (PD) compatible remote powered device. To meet the demands of various powered devices consuming stable PoE power, the GS-6322-24P4X PoE++ switch provides five different PoE power output modes to choose from.
- 95W UPOE/POH
- 90W 802.3bt PoE++
- 60W Force
- 36W End-span PoE
- 36W Mid-span PoE
10GBASE-T and 10GBASE-X SFP Dual Media Interfaces
The GS-6322-24P4X features a built-in hardware L2 and L3 switching motor along with 24 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 2 10GBASE-T RJ45 ports and 2 additional 10GBASE-X SFP+ ports. With two built-in 10GBASE-T copper interfaces with auto-negotiation of 5 speeds (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100), the GS-6322-24P4X provides data transmission at 10Gbps using existing Cat6A/Cat7 UTP cabling, which means that speed can be increased without incurring costs. An additional two 10GBASE-X SFP+ interfaces with 3 speeds (10G/2,5G/1G) provide transmission over distances up to 120km.
Support for Layer 3 routing
The GS-6322-24P4X enables an administrator to conveniently increase network efficiency by manually configuring IPv4/IPv6 VLAN Layer 3 static routing and automatically configuring OSPFv2 (Open Shortest Path First) IPv4 settings. OSPF is an internal dynamic routing protocol for a standalone system based on the state of the link. The protocol creates a link state database by exchanging link states between Layer 3 switches and then uses the Shortest Path First algorithm to generate a route table based on that database.
Redundant ring, fast recovery for critical network applications
The GS-6322-24P4X supports backup ring technology and has strong, fast self-healing capabilities to prevent interruptions and external intrusions. The device uses advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching), Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) technology and a redundant power system in the industrial automation network to increase system reliability and uptime in harsh factory conditions. In some simple ring networks, the recovery time for a data link can be as long as 10 ms.
Convenient and intelligent ONVIF devices with detection function
The GS-6322-24P4X has a great feature - ONVIF Support - which is specifically designed to work with IP monitoring. From the graphical user interface, just one click is enough to search and show all ONVIF devices through the web application. In addition, customers can upload floor images to the switch and allow any surveillance devices to be deployed for ease of control and planning. In addition, customers can get real-time surveillance status and online/offline status information, and also allow you to control the PoE restart from the GUI.
Built-in unique PoE features to manage powered devices
As a managed PoE switch for monitoring networks, wireless networks and VoIP, the GS-6322-24P4X has the following special PoE management features:
- Checking the lifespan of PD
- Scheduled power recycling
- PoE Schedule
- Monitoring PoE usage
Intelligent status checking of powered devices
The GS-6322-24P4X can be configured to monitor the status of a connected PD (powered device) in real time through a ping action. When the PD stops working and responding, the GS-6322-24P4X will resume powering the PoE port and bring the PD back to work. This will greatly increase network reliability with a PoE port that resets the PD power source and reduces the management administrator load.
Scheduled power recycling
The GS-6322-24P4X allows any of the connected PoE IP cameras or wireless PoE access points to restart at a specific time each week. This reduces the likelihood of an IP camera or access point failing due to buffer overflow.
PoE Schedule for Energy Savings
In line with the global trend of energy saving and contributing to environmental protection, the GS-6322-24P4X can effectively control the power supply, in addition to being able to deliver high power. The "PoE schedule" feature helps turn PoE power on or off for each PoE port at specific time intervals, and it's a powerful feature that helps SMBs or enterprises save energy and money. It also increases security by turning off the power to PD devices that should not be used during off-business hours.
Solid Layer 2 features
The GS-6322-24P4X can be programmed for advanced Layer 2 switch management features such as dynamic port aggregation, 802.1Q tagged VLAN, Q-in-Q VLAN, private VLAN, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), Layer 2 to Layer 4 QoS, bandwidth control, IGMP snooping and MLD snooping. Thanks to the aggregation of supporting ports, the GS-6322-24P4X can operate at high speeds because it has multiple ports and also supports fail-over.
Powerful network security
The GS-6322-24P4X offers a comprehensive list of access controls (ACLs) from Layer 2 to Layer 4 to ensure security at the network edge. It can be used to restrict network access by rejecting packets based on source and destination IP addresses, TCP/UDP port numbers, or defined common network applications. The protection mechanism also includes port-based and MAC-based authentication of users and 802.1x devices. Thanks to the private VLAN function, communication between edge ports may be prevented to ensure user privacy.
Advanced IP network protection
The GS-6322-24P4X also provides DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection features that prevent IP snooping attacks and reject ARP packets with an invalid MAC address. A network administrator can now build highly secure corporate networks with significantly less time and effort than before.
Efficient management
For efficient management, the GS-6322-24P4X is equipped with console, Web and SNMP management interfaces.
- The built-in web-based management interface offers easy-to-use, platform-agnostic management and configuration.
- For text management, you can access it through Telnet and the console port.
- For standard monitoring and management software, it offers an SNMPv3 connection that encrypts packet contents during each session for secure remote management.
Intelligent SFP/SFP+ diagnostic mechanism
The GS-6322-24P4X supports SFP-DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitor), which greatly facilitates the network administrator to monitor in real time the parameters of SFP and SFP+ transceivers, such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current and transceiver supply voltage.
