Planet FGSW-2624HPS is a high-quality advanced managed, multi-layer switch from the global manufacturer of CCTV accessories, Planet. The device has 24 RJ-45 ports, 24 of which support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Switches allow you to work in the 2nd layer of the OSI model, i.e. in the data link layer (switch makes decisions based on MAC addresses contained in frames).

The advantage of Planet devices is energy saving, thanks to the intelligent power consumption function, PD Alive Check and energy recovery schedule, as well as the PoE Schedule (it is used to control the power supply of PoE devices at set intervals). Importantly, the switches are equipped with MDI/MDI-X detection (recognition of the type of cable) so that they connect in the Plug and Play standard. The switch provides simple, economical and trouble-free network transmission, and also allows you to extend the range of the system in places where there is no access to sockets or power lines. By eliminating the need for a large number of wires, we can reduce installation costs, simplify the installer’s work and take care of the aesthetics of the system.
