It is a modern, computer sewing machine from the Skyline series of machines. Like its two predecessors (Skyline S3 and Skyline S5). Skyline S7 is larger than standard computer sewing machines, so sewing large areas like e.g. Blankets, curtains, bedspreads or coats are much easier. Also, the free arm (for hemming legs or sleeves) is larger than in other models of machines, because it is up to 11 cm. Janome Skyline S7 has features typical of a computer machine, but there are several features that definitely distinguish this model from other sewing machine models available, such as:

Large, easy to read, colorful, touch screen. Previously, it appeared only in machines - embroidery machines or embroidery machines. From the machine screen you will learn what stitch was selected (it is presented graphically), what is its optimal length and width and the extent of their changes, what are the additional options for it (creating a mirror image, the possibility of sewing with a double needle), what foot should be used for this stitch. A clear screen definitely makes it easier to program the order of stitches or the order of embroidered letters (subtitles)

Unlimited stitches. As a standard, the Skyline S7 machine has 580 stitch programs, but thanks to the Stitch Composer custom stitch design program, we can create our own stitches (up to 9 mm wide) and upload them to the machine’s memory via pen driva. Stitch Composer is included in the standard equipment of the machine.

Automatically raise and lower the foot. When starting or finishing sewing, we do not have to remember to raise and lower the foot. The machine will do this automatically as soon as you press the foot starter or start/stop button. In addition, when finishing sewing, the machine will automatically raise the foot to the top, but leave the needle in the lower position, so that the materials will not accidentally escape from under the feet or easily rotate on the needle.

Easier to use needle threader. Currently, threaders are very practical and make threading the needle easier, but the threader in Skyline S7 makes them even easier. Just hook the thread on one element and lower the threader, the needle will be strung. Quickly, efficiently and without straining the pattern.

Adjusting workplace lighting. We can independently determine which lights we want to have on and which we do not. We have up to 3 groups of LED lights at our disposal. (Many people have asked us about this possibility with previous machine models and this feature is available.)
