Dry-care uv 1.1 is an electronic device with additional UV-C light and built-in USB connector for use at home or during travel and storage and care of primarily battery-operated hearing aids:behind-the-ear (BTE), in-ear (ITE), intra-channel (CIC) models,models with external handset (RIC), cochlear implants or noise generators,but also in-ear monitors for musicians, acoustic plugs and earbuds or protective anti-noise earplugs.

Every hearing aid user knows best how important it is to have them perform reliably every day. The smallest failure worsens the quality of use and is associated with additional, often high, repair costs.

In addition to dehumidification, ultraviolet light (253,7 nm UV-C) eliminates 99,9% of bacteria, fungi and viruses. This helps prevent the development of infections and inflammatory processes in the ear, protecting hearing and health.

Thanks to the power supply via the standard USB-C connector, the dry-care uv 1.1 dehumidifier is a mobile device and allows you to use both at home and on the go (including musicians during concerts), offering greater freedom. The dehumidifier is very elegant, energy efficient and safe.

DRYING AND CARE

Moisture and earwax can prevent hearing aids, as well as in-ear monitors used by musicians during recordings and concerts, and even cause damage to them. The dry-care uv 1.1 provides optimal protection against these factors. Gentle dehumidification at 50°C significantly extends their service life, increases reliability and prevents frequent repairs. The dehumidification process is indicated by the constant illumination of the LED. After 4 hours of comfortable dehumidification, the device automatically switches to standby mode. Perfect and regular dehumidification is very important for the proper functioning of hearing aids.

UV-C LIGHT FOR YOUR HEALTH

The dehumidification process is supported by UV-C light ensuring clinical purity. Ultraviolet light (253,7 nm UV-C) eliminates 99,9% of bacteria, fungi and viruses. This helps prevent the development of infections and inflammatory processes in the ear, protecting hearing and health. UV-C light works during the first 4 minutes of dehumidification, and – for the second time – at the end of the dehumidification process. The cleaning process is automatically parallel to dehumidification and is indicated by the flashing of the LED light. This means that the apparatus is hygienically clean after 4 hours of drying.

EASY ONE-BUTTON OPERATION

The dry-care uv 1.1 dehumidifier turns on simply by pressing the sensory button. All switching processes are controlled automatically. Flashing LEDs indicate active UV-C light, while a continuous light LED light signals the ongoing dehumidification process. Pressing the button for more than 3 seconds turns the device off.

UV LIGHT WITH ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY

Blue light (450 nm) is used in medicine for the treatment of: acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and for wound healing. Moreover, exposure of the skin to UV light causes antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects

Due to the standard USB 5V connector used, the dehumidifier can be used at home or while traveling, in a hotel or car, connected to a laptop or TV or audio equipment. Thanks to the included AC adapter with USB output, the device can also be connected to a regular electrical outlet.
