MATARA carpet is made from a combination of two types of yarn. Polypropylene Frise thread, which gives it elasticity, high durability and abrasion resistance. Shrink-type polyester, heat-treated, shrinks and forms a "lower" part of the two-level fleece. The thickness of the carpet is about 13 mm, so it insulates heat well and is comfortable for the feet. High weaving density emphasizes the rich structure of the pattern. Jute backing provides strength and dimensional stability to the carpet.
