Ceramic coating

Ceramic coating is currently the most durable form of protection of varnish and other surfaces known in the world. It guarantees the highest degree of protection, and the degree of hardness exceeds the hardest car varnishes. After protection, a transparent and invisible layer with a thickness of up to 2-3 microns appears on the varnish, thanks to which it is completely isolated from the adverse effects of any external factors.

Benefits

K2 GRAVON protects the surface against scratches, dirt, UV rays, salt, bird droppings, precipitation and tree juices, insect residues, corrosion and mechanical damage caused, for example, by e.g. Impacts of stones on the body.

Protects the varnish against the formation of defects that reduce gloss, reduces the risk of circular scratches. Thanks to the ceramic coating, there is no need to wax the car, and due to the excellent dirt repelling and self-cleaning properties, you can reduce the frequency of washing.

Unlike waxes, the ceramic coating cannot be washed off with chemicals, which is why it is the most durable way to protect the surface. The only way to remove the coating is to machine polish. The ceramic coating also protects against graffiti, the applied paint does not adhere to the surface and can be easily removed.

Usage

K2 GRAVON coating can be applied not only to varnish, but also to rubber, plastic, metal, glass. It is successfully used in automotive, sailing, aviation and industry.

Method of use

Optimal application conditions:

1. Ambient temperature from 10°C to 35°C.
2. Apply indoors or in a shaded area.
3. Do not apply in conditions of excessive humidity.

Surface preparation:

1. Wash and dry the varnish thoroughly.
2. The surface should be free of tar, dirt, waxes, paste oils, factory protection. In order to remove any impurities that linger in the pores of the varnish, it is recommended to use clay for varnish K2
3. Varnish with defects and scratches should be machine polished, e.g. with polishing machine and pastes K2 MIRRORS.

App:

1. Before applying the ceramic coating, thoroughly degrease the surface with K2 T6 KLINET, using microfiber - e.g. K2 BONA microfiber.
2. Optionally apply K2 Gravon Primer, using a mechanical polisher, which will further strengthen the bonding of the ceramic coating to the surface of the varnish. Ceramic coating can be applied an hour after polishing
3. Shake the bottle thoroughly and apply 6-8 drops to a dry wipe wrapped on the applicator. (The first application can be twice as abundant, so that the applicator will be impregnated and the coating will not dry on its surface during application. )
4. Apply crosswise, once on surfaces not larger than 50x50 cm.
5. After 1-2 minutes after application at temp. Approx. 20°C, polish surfaces with microfiber (higher temperature reduces drying time, lower lengthens). Do not allow the coating to dry on the varnish.
6. After applying and polishing the first layer, wait for at least 1 hours and apply another (for maximum durability, apply 3 layers).
7. Optionally, after applying the last layer, apply the product K2 GRAVON RELOAD, which additionally gives slip and deepens the color.

After application:

1. Leave the car in a dry room for at least 8 hours.
2. Do not wash your car with any chemicals for the next 7 days.
3. For regular maintenance of the coating (every 3-6 months), it is recommended to use the product K2 GRAVON RELOAD.
