What a Story!!!

17th Century

Louis XIV, sensitive to smells, felt that the aromas of the Palace of Versailles were, to put it mildly, not befitting the grandeur of the place. He himself didn't bathe too often, but he wanted to smell noble.

1682

Jean Paul Feminis – the court alchemist of the Sun King, of Italian origin (more like Giovanni Paolo) – develops a recipe for a new fragrance: light and fresh, in short, for those times: amazing.

Early 18th Century

Thanks to the Dominican order, the manuscript with the perfume recipe makes its way to polish lands.

The friars, with the help of a local workshop, start small-scale production, partly for their own needs and partly to supplement their budget. You know – money had to add up, and since the scent was liked, it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.

Shortly after the war

After years of neglect, partitions, and wars, the Latin manuscript with the recipe is found in the archives of the PIXIN company.

1950s

Created based on the centuries-old recipe, the PRASTARA cologne wins the hearts and noses of Poles. And not only them. It's said to have also been one of the most popular export goods.

Today, you hold in your hands another edition of this already iconic fragrance. Staying true to the original manuscript, we have created a refreshed version of the unique PRASTARA cologne.
