✅ Use of cartridges for jugs

1. Insert activation: Before first use, immerse the new filter cartridge in water for about 5 minutes. This process ventes the filter and activates its filtering properties.
2. Filter flush: After activation, filter and pour out the first two full jugs of water. You should not drink this water.
3. Note the color of the water: If the water during rinsing takes on a slightly darker shade, this is completely normal. This is due to the leaching of small particles of activated carbon from the filter.

After completing these steps, the filter is ready for use.
