PROTECT YOUR DATA

By taking your data with you, you want to make sure that it is properly protected from impacts, falls and getting into the wrong hands. With ADATA’s robust HD680 layered design, shock sensors and 256-bit AES encryption, you don’t have to worry about anything!

Protection of the military class

The HD680 meets the requirements of the United States Military standard MIL-STD-810G 516.6. This is provided by a three-layer design that includes a shock-relieving silicone case, durable protection, and a shock-absorbing hard drive mount. Thanks to this, the external hard drive will withstand a fall from a height of up to 1,22 meters.

Convenient cable management

A handy groove is made around the drive case, which provides a convenient way to store a detachable USB cable. The unused cable can be detached and wrapped around the HD680.

Shock sensors

A fall or shock can result in errors or damaged sectors of the hard drive. The HD680 is equipped with shock sensors that will notify you when a collision or shock is detected with a red indicator.

Data security with AES encryption

256-bit AES encryption protects data with a password and protects it from falling into the wrong hands.
