HumaPen SAVVIO is easy to use. Allows you to inject 1 to 60 units of insulin. The HumaPen SAVVIO is only suitable for use with Lilly 3 ml insulin cartridges. Do not use insulin cartridges of another brand.
You can choose one unit of insulin at a time. If you choose too many units, you can adjust the dose without losing insulin. You cannot select more units than the number left in the cartridge in your HumaPen SAVVIO.
HumaPen SAVVIO can be used with Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) pen needles. Each injection should be given with a new needle. This ensures sterility of the injection, as well as avoiding insulin leakage and getting inside the air bubble cartridge and reducing the risk of needle clogging.
