The DBC-4A rectifier can charge lead-acid batteries (regular and MF), Ca/Ca, AGM and gel batteries. It is a microprocessor rectifier, made in accordance with the IP65 standard, which means resistance to dust and splashes and low pressure water jet dousing. It has protection against:

• short circuit
• reverse battery connection (reverse polarity)
• open circuit
• protection against sparks
• battery overcharging
• rectifier overload
• overheating of the rectifier

It has 6 charging modes:

6V to 14Ah batteries

• 7.2V do 2A
• 7.4V to 2A (low temperature charging)

12V to 14Ah batteries and deeply discharged

• 14.3V do 2A
• 14.7V to 2A (low temperature charging)

12V batteries over 14Ah

• 14.3V do 4A
• 14.7V to 4A (low temperature charging)

It shows the battery voltage and the degree of charge on an ongoing basis and adjusts the charging current depending on its needs. Once charged, it displays a FULL message and maintains the voltage on the battery.

Gel batteries with a capacity of up to 14Ah used in motorcycles and scooters should be charged by selecting a program with the motorcycle icon on the display.
