Ultra high efficiency of eco-friendly chargers

With an efficiency of up to 95%, these chargers generate up to 4 times less heat compared to industrial chargers. When charging the battery to full consumption decreases to 0,5 W, which is 5 to 10 times better than industrial standards.

Durable, safe and quiet

Minimum temperatures on electronic components. Protection against dust, water and debris ingress. Overheating protection: The output current is reduced when the temperature rises to 60°C, preventing damage to the charger. These chargers are absolutely silent: no fan or other moving parts.

Storage mode: less corrosion on the positive plate

Even at the lower support voltage preceding the absorption mode, the mesh corrosion occurs. Therefore, it is desirable to reduce the voltage even when the battery remains connected to the charger for more than 48 hours.

Charging with temperature compensation

The optimal charging voltage of lead-acid batteries differs inversely in proportion to the temperature. The Blue Power IP65 charger measures the ambient temperature during the test phase and compensates for parameters during the charging process. Temperature is measured again when charging with low current in backup or storage mode. Special settings for hot and cold environments are no longer needed.

Li-Ion battery mode

The Blue Power IP65 charger uses a special charging algorithm for Li-ion batteries (LiFePO4), with automatic undervoltage protection after reset.

Regeneration

Lead-acid batteries that have been insufficiently charged or left discharged for days or weeks are sulphurized. Acting in time, the sulphation process can be partially reversed by charging the battery with low current until a higher voltage is obtained.

Renew function of fully discharged batteries

Most chargers with reverse polarity protection do not recognize the discharge of batteries to zero or almost zero and therefore do not start charging these batteries. Blue Power charger tries to re-charge the discharged battery with low current and continues charging as the voltage on the battery increases
