California Gold Nutrition Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Peptides contains tasteless marine collagen, which is made from the skin of wild-caught deep-sea and cold-water species. Collagen is enzymatically hydrolyzed (degraded) into amino acid peptides to support absorption and bioavailability.

Collagen is a protein produced by the body, accounting for about 30% of all human proteins, and at the same time being one of the main components of connective tissue. Collagen is a kind of binder that connects cells – it is the building block of skin, bones, teeth, tendons, cartilage, blood vessels or corneas of the eye. Collagen is not without reason called the protein of youth – this substance supports, among others:

✅ maintaining smoothness, elasticity, good tension and hydration of the skin,

✅ proper functioning of joints without pain,

✅ faster healing of wounds and adhesion of broken bones,

✅ maintaining the elasticity of blood vessels, which improves blood circulation.

Recommended daily dose:

Adults: Mix 1 scoop per day (5 grams) in about 60 ml of water or room temperature juice. Add an additional 200 ml of water or juice at room temperature and mix well (for best results, mix in a bottle or with a blender).

Drink on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Avoid taking with other foods that contain protein, as they can interfere with collagen absorption.

On average, 5 grams is 1 scoop. An individual picking technique can give you a little less or a little more than 5 grams.
