Yes – connect to HDMI ARC on TV and set ARC ON.

2. Does it work with PS5/XSX consoles?

Yes – connect the source → converter → TV; the sound will come out with Toslink or jack.

3. Do I need additional power?

It usually requires 5V USB power – if there is a cable in your version, connect it to the USB port/charger.

4. Will I get a 5.1 sound?

By S/PDIF – if the source and TV/device support (AC3/DTS). The jack 3,5 mm output is stereo.

MODE 1 — HDMI AUDIO EXTRACTOR (connection instructions)

1. HDMI source (console/TV box/PC) → HDMI input in the converter.
2. ARC HDMI OUT → TV/projector — only image (4K HDR pass-through).
3. 🔊 Audio in parallel to the equipment:

   • S/PDIF (optician) → receiver/soundbar

   • Jack 3,5 mm → speakers/headphones (3,5 mm cable included)

   (both audio outputs can play simultaneously)

4. 🔌 Power supply: DC 5 V (USB). ARC switch in the OFF position — in this mode, the sound is pulled from the HDMI input.
5. ℹ No CEC – remote control remote control does not adjust the volume. HDMI OUT is not used to connect audio equipment, but to the display.

MODE 2 — ARC (TV ➝ S/PDIF / 3,5 mm)

Objective: Extract audio from the app on TV (Netflix, YouTube, DVB tuner, etc. ) and serve it on an amplifier/soundbar or headphones.

Step by step:

1. ✅ Your TV must support HDMI ARC (enable ARC in the TV menu).
2. Connect the HDMI ARC port on TV→ to the ARC HDMI OUT port on the converter.
3. ⚡ Power converter: DC 5 V (USB).
4. 🔁 Set the switch ARC = ON (red LED lights up).
5. 🎚 On TV, select sound output: HDMI ARC.

Audio outputs (active simultaneously):

• 🔊 S/PDIF (optical) → receiver / soundbar (up to 5.1)
• 🎧 Jack 3,5 mm → speakers / headphones (stereo)
