With the PointTeQ tip, the HSS PointTeQ twist drill bit allows for fast drilling in metal. The self-centering tip allows you to start drilling efficiently, as it prevents the drill from slipping. Drilling is faster, so the amount of heat emitted and the wear of the drill are less. PointTeQ tip does not dull and provides high durability.
The drill is designed for chip removal and drilling pilot holes in alloy and non-alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, cast iron and plastic. It is equipped with a cylindrical handle (a shank equal to the diameter of the drill) and is designed for use with stationary drills and screwdrivers.
