Product description:

Exotic food for rodents and rabbits is a complementary feed class premium, created to enrich the diet of herbivorous animals with fruit, vegetable and seed ingredients. The product contains large pieces of dried fruits and vegetables, which can diversify the diet and affect the sensory attractiveness of the food.

The high content of vegetable fats comes from m.in. from nuts and sunflower seeds, which makes the food an energetic supplement to the diet, especially useful for active species and with high energy demand. Dried fruits such as apple, banana, grape or pear and root vegetables (carrots, beet, topinambur, parsnip) are natural sources of carbohydrates, fiber and micronutrients.

Micronized and crushed ingredients (peas, corn, beans) are more easily absorbed and are an additional source of plant protein. Locust bread and coconut can affect the palatability of the mixture, and dried tomato enriches the food profile.

Recommendations for use:

The feed should be used as a complementary feed. The product is not a complete diet. The animal should have unlimited access to fresh water and good quality hay – these are the basic elements of everyday nutrition of herbivores.

Recommended daily servings (indicative):

• Domestic rabbit: 15 to 30 g
• Guinea Pig: 10 to 25 g
• Degu: 5 to 15 g
• Gerbils, rats, mice, hamsters: 5 to 10 g
• Squirrel: 10 to 20 g

Due to the high content of vegetable fats, controlled dosage is recommended – the product can be used as a dietary diversification element, especially in combination with lower-calorie feeds. It is recommended to administer once a day, preferably in the afternoon or evening.

Storage method:
