The STIHL MS 271 diesel saw is equipped with a powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine with 2,6 kW (3,5 hp). Combined with the RS3 Pro .325" cutting chain, this provides very good cutting performance. The efficiency of the device is also increased by the STIHL Light 04 guide, because its lightweight design reduces the total weight of the device. Single lever operation makes it easy to work with, because all the necessary functions are available with the right hand, so that it can remain on the handle. In order to be able to work as long as possible and without interruption, we equipped the saw with a filter system with a pre-filter. Thanks to this, larger dirt particles do not get into the filter, which means that it can be cleaned less often. If you retrofit this saw with an HD2 air filter to catch smaller dust particles, you can also enjoy the advantages of a long-life air filtration system.

Side Chain Tensioner

PROVIDES EASY AND SAFE TENSIONING. The side chain tensioner allows for safe, easy and quick tensioning and chain replacement. The tension screw is available on the side through the chain drive cover.

Durable Air Filter System for Saws

LONGER FILTER LIFE. The pre-filter removes coarse, larger particles from the air stream before they reach the correct filter. The HD2 filter keeps even fine dust away from the engine, ensuring a long engine life, long cleaning intervals, and easy maintenance of the saw. This system provides a much longer filter life compared to traditional air filtration systems.

The adjustment system in the carburetor, compensator, by equalizing the pressure causes that despite the increasing pollution of the air filter, the engine power, exhaust quality and fuel consumption for a long time remain almost unchanged. Therefore, the air filter should be cleaned only after a clear decrease in parameters. Thanks to this, it is possible to work without maintenance for a long time.

Carburetor Preheating System

STIHL chainsaws equipped with a carburetor preheating system are reliable even when it is cold outside: in winter mode, heated air flows around the carburetor. This solution effectively prevents the carburetor from icing.

Four-channel Stihl Technique

In four through channels, the fuel-air mixture is swirled before ignition. This ensures better fuel combustion and significantly increases engine efficiency. The result: lower fuel consumption and high torque in a wide range of revolutions.

Engine Stihl 2-Mix

EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE. With the STIHL 2-Mix engine, you can reduce emissions and fuel consumption, as well as operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is designed to require no frequent maintenance and consume fuel even at high power. As fuel, a mixture of gasoline and engine oil should be used. The STIHL 2 Mix engine complies with the strict EU emission directive, level V.

Anti-vibration system Stihl

PROVIDES A MORE COMFORTABLE WORK. When increasing the power of the device, vibrations are created, which are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of motor vibrations to the grip area and thus to the user's body.
