Novama MultiCheck Pro+ glucose test strips

The medical device Novama MultiCheck Pro+ glucose test strips are only used for measurement with NOVAMA MultiCheck Pro+ devices. Strips to measure glucose levels using a small blood sample from the entire finger, hand or forearm. They can be used for self-diagnosis and by medical staff.

• Glucose dehydrogenase (GDH-FAD) ≤1,5 units (microorganism).
• Other components (buffer, mediator, surfactant, stabilizer, etc. ) ≤ 0,2 mg

Working principle of Novama MultiCheck Pro+ glucose test strips

After applying the blood sample, the strip automatically sucks it into the test zone. There, glucose reacts chemically with the reagent, which generates an electrical signal. The meter reads this signal and immediately converts it into the displayed plasma glucose result.

How to interpret the results?

• If “lo” is displayed, blood glucose levels may be below 20 mg/dL (1,1 mmol/L).
• If “Hi” is displayed, blood glucose levels may exceed 600 mg/dL (33,3 mmol/L).

How to use Novama MultiCheck Pro+ strips?

The measurement can be performed using the NOVAMA MultiCheck Pro+ device.

• Store the strips in a dry and cool place, at room temperature.
• Always store in the original vial.
• Immediately after removing the strip, close the vial cap tightly to protect the remaining strips from moisture.

• Normal glucose levels before breakfast: 70-105 mg/dL (3,9-5,8 mmol/L) 1 or 2 hours
• After a meal: < 120- 160 mg/dL (6,7-8,9 mmol/L)
