The apparatus enables fast and accurate measurement of the level of glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides and uric acid in the blood from a sample taken from the finger. The Sterilance lancet is designed for use with a disposable lancet for capillary blood sampling from peripheral parts of the human body for testing. The LDE4 lancet has 9 depth levels and a knob to set the desired puncture depth. Puncture depth adjustment: number 1 for delicate/thin skin, number 3 for normal skin, number 5 for calloused skin. Further precise adjustments can be made by setting the knob between the numbers.

Storage:

• Shock protection: Strong shocks, such as dropping a device, can damage its electronics.
• Working temperature range:

  5°C - 45°C (glucose measurement),

  10°C - 40°C (cholesterol measurement),

  18°C - 38°C (triglyceride measurement),

  10°C - 38°C (uric acid measurement).

• Storage: Do not store the device in places exposed to extreme temperatures (e.g. in a hot or chilled car trunk) or in places with high humidity (such as the bathroom or kitchen).
• Use of test strips: After removing the test strip from the vial, immediately close the vial tightly to prevent contamination.
• Prohibited operations: Do not disassemble the device or make self-repairs.
• Disposal: Used equipment must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations.
