50 test strips

The evercare* strip tests used together with the evercare* genius glucose meter allow you to take blood glucose measurements yourself, at home, or by qualified medical personnel. The measurement is performed on a fresh whole blood sample taken from the fingertip or other Alternative Site Test (AST). Alternate Site Testing).

Method of use

Before taking any measurements, wash your hands with warm soapy water and wipe them dry.

evercare* lancets with the evercare* comfort lancet should be used to obtain an appropriate blood sample.

Step 1.

Slide the strip test into the glucose meter test port, until it stops. After inserting the strip test, the glucose meter will turn on automatically and is ready to perform the measurement.

Step 2.

Take a blood sample with a test strip. A sufficient amount of blood is needed to obtain results. To do this, apply the blood sample to the test field of the test strip and wait until the control window is filled. Do not apply a sample of ground blood. The meter will start measuring.

Step 3.

After a few seconds, the blood glucose test result will be displayed. The result will be automatically saved in memory. Turn off the glucose meter by extending the strip test, and then throw away the strip test.

Contraindications

Xylosis: Do not take blood glucose measurements during or immediately after an attempt to absorb xylose. Xylosis contained in the blood can lead to disruption of the results.

Haematocrit: hematocrit levels range from 0% to 70%.

The evercare* strip test is designed to measure the glucose concentration of fresh capillary blood samples immediately after puncture and obtained from whole blood from veins.

When the concentrations of uric acid, ascorbic acid and paracetamol in the blood are normal, these components should not significantly interfere with the measurement results.

The presence of galactose, maltose or fructose in the blood does not have a significant effect on the results of blood glucose measurements.

Excess blood lipids: blood triglycerides below 2000 mg/dL (22,8 mmol/L) do not significantly affect the measurement results, but at higher concentrations the results may be inaccurate.

Measurements in high places: measurements at altitudes up to 3275 m above sea level do not affect the results.

Only heparin should be used for the anticoagulation of fresh whole blood from veins or capillaries.

Users and qualified healthcare professionals examining the evercare* genius system of many patients should take special care of all the elements that may come into contact with the blood to prevent blood-borne diseases.

Before using the test strip, read the leaflet and the glucometer User Manual. The evercare * test strip only works with the evercare * genius meter. Do not use evercare * post-test with other blood glucose meters, otherwise you will lose the Manufacturer's warranty.

In patients with severe hypotension or who are in shock or other severe clinical conditions, the results may be inaccurate.

Strip tests and lancets should be protected from children. If swallowed and you should contact your doctor immediately.
