Accu-Chek Instant test strips in combination with a compatible glucose meter allow you to quickly determine blood glucose levels.

The results correspond to blood plasma glucose concentration, although a whole blood sample is applied to the strip.

The system can be used both during self-monitoring of glycemia at home and by medical staff.

FAD-dependent glucose dehydrogenase (GDH) is used in the reaction on the strip.

The reaction of glucose contained in the sample results in an electrical signal, which is then analyzed by a glucose meter and converted into a blood glucose result.

Thanks to this, the user receives a clear measurement result on the screen of a compatible glucose meter.

The design of the Accu-Chek Instant straps is designed for convenient daily measurements.

If the volume of the applied sample turns out to be too small, the compatible Accu-Chek Instant glucose meter may signal the need to supplement it.

Accu-Chek Instant strips are designed for people who need to regularly check their blood glucose levels, in particular to:

• daily self-monitoring of glycemia,
• taking measurements according to the doctor’s instructions,
• use with compatible Accu-Chek Instant glucose meter,
• professional execution of markings by medical staff.

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.

2. Remove the test strip from the container.

3. Instantly close the container tightly to protect the remaining strips from moisture.

4. Place the strap in a compatible Accu-Chek Instant glucose meter.

5. Use the lancer to get a drop of blood.

6. Apply a blood sample to the appropriate edge of the strip.

7. Wait for the result to be displayed by the glucose meter.

Each bar is intended for one-time use only.

Test strips should be stored and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

During use, it is particularly important to:

✔ tight sealing of the container immediately after removing the belt,

✔ protection of strips against moisture,

✔ use of the strap immediately after removal from the container,

✔ compliance with the expiry date on the packaging,

✔ use each strip only once.

The strips can be used at temperatures from 4°C to 45°C and at relative humidity from 10% to 90%.
