Why is the Libre glucose value different from the fingertip glucose value?

The sensor collects the value of glucose from interstitial fluid (lSF), not blood, interstitial fluid is a body fluid that exists in interstitial spaces between human cells and tissues, Glucose can diffuse between interstitial spaces through glucose readings based on capillaries.lSF are a reliable basis for reflecting blood levels in sugar. Compared with changes in blood sugar levels, the physiological delay time of glucose in lSF is about 5-10 minutes, and the average delay time of the Freestyle Libre system is about 5 minutes, which basically does not affect daily treatment decisions.

Do you feel its presence while wearing the sensor?

How many glucose readings can you get after wearing the sensor?

If the sensor is not scanned once within 8 hours, the user will lose the earliest glucose data. For example, if you scan the sensor at 13:00 and rescan at 22:00, it will cause glucose data loss between 13:00-14:00.
