VIOFO RWC400 is an external rear camera equipped with a modern Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor, recording in 2K QHD resolution (2560×1440). With its IP67 rating and HDR support, it provides clear images both during the day and after dark, and when driving in harsh weather conditions.

Excellent 2K picture quality

The camera captures images in 2K QHD resolution, so it saves more detail than standard Full HD cameras. More details make it easier to identify license plates and other traffic participants.

Compatibility

VIOFO RWC400 is not a standalone recorder.

A compatible recorder is required for operation:

• VIOFO A329T

The camera acts as an external rear module and works only with the listed models.

Does the RWC400 work on its own?

No. VIOFO RWC400 is an additional rear camera module and requires connection to a compatible VIOFO route recorder. It does not record images on its own and cannot work as an independent camera.

What models is it compatible with?

The camera works with DVRs:

• VIOFO A329S
• VIOFO A329T

It is not designed for older series of VIOFO cameras or A229 models.

Can the camera be mounted outside the vehicle?

Yes. The housing meets the IP67 standard, thanks to which the camera is resistant to rain, snow, dust and vehicle washing. It is perfect for passenger cars, cargo vans, RVs, and pickups.

Does the camera record at night?

Yes. The camera is equipped with Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor and HDR technology, which improve image quality after dark and in difficult lighting conditions.

Is the cable included?

Yes. The set includes a connection cable that allows you to connect the camera to a compatible VIOFO recorder and mounting hardware.

Is the camera suitable for cars with tinted rear window?

Yes. Thanks to the possibility of mounting outside the vehicle, the camera eliminates problems related to heavily tinted windows, dirt or reflections of light.

Will the RWC400 work in a bus or motorhome?

Yes. The camera is designed for vehicles where a classic indoor camera may have a limited field of view. It is suitable for vans, RVs, pickups, and other built-in vehicles.
