The X2D II 100C builds on the original X2D 100C model, introducing several key innovations. The most important of these is continuous focus tracking with AF-C mode, which is a long-awaited functionality for Hasselblad users. AF-C works with deep learning algorithms to detect and track objects faster and more reliably.

Phase Detection Autofox (PDAF) now covers as many as 425 zones and is further supported by the LiDAR sharpening system and a new AF booster lamp for improved low-light performance.

In terms of image quality, the X2D II 100C is equipped with the unique Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution with high dynamic range (HNCS HDR). This technology provides natural colors, better detail retention in the lights and rich tonal details even in difficult lighting conditions.

HDR files can be saved as HDR HEIF or Ultra HDR JPEG and viewed on a new 3,6-inch OLED screen, which is now 75% brighter than its predecessor and fully appreciates the qualities of such images.

At the heart of the camera is an improved 100-megapixel medium-format BSI CMOS sensor with 16-bit color depth and a dynamic range of up to 15,3 degrees. Combined with a new 5-axis stabilization system with an efficiency of up to 10 degrees EV, the camera offers even greater hand-held shooting capabilities, including the ability to take long exposures without the use of a tripod.

The Phocus Mobile 2 app extends workflow capabilities by enabling you to edit, remotely control, and process HRAW files directly on iOS devices.

The X2D II 100C has 1 TB of internal storage and a CFexpress Type B card slot, so there should be no problems with lack of space even when working with such large files. Suffice it to say that 1TB allows you to save over 4000 RAW files!

The X2D II 100C design itself has also been improved over the previous version and now features a lighter body, a new graphite-gray matte finish, a tiltable OLED screen, a 5D joystick and customizable buttons for improved ergonomics.
