Application

The JUDO EASY FILT-B backwash filter is dedicated for installation in installations with cold water, as well as in all other installations where the water and ambient temperature do not exceed 30º C. This filter is designed for installation in a drinking water system for filtration and pressure reduction. The maximum permissible pressure at the entrance to the filter should not exceed 10 bar. The nominal flow rate at the pressure drop of this model is:

• 4,6m3/h with a pressure drop of 0,2 BAR
• 7,3m3/h with a pressure drop of 0,5 BAR

We also offer other filters, including those with a silver-coated cartridge and without a pressure reducer. They are also available in versions with automatic backwashing that do not require any interference in the filtration process.

Construction and execution

The filter body is made of high-quality plastic, PN 16 with a threaded brass housing. Stainless steel filter cartridge with a nominal filtration accuracy of 100 microns. It has a large knob for backwashing and cleaning the transparent filter housing. Additional cover with a zipper reminding about the date of the next backwash, the top cover is removable.

Includes a set of 1" half-screws with gaskets.

Why is it worth filtering water?

Small particles in the water mean big problems in installation. The number of damages caused every year in unprotected pipelines, fittings and equipment is very large. The causes of these problems are often small particles of sand and debris entering the installation along with water from waterworks or wells. An additional risk is unfortunately the failure of water supply networks, which often causes uncontrolled entry of undesirable elements into the water. Such molecules form dangerous electrochemical compounds that cause corrosion, rust deposition and even tearing of the pipe. These particles can also lead to serious damage to faucets, fittings and heating elements, as well as other household appliances for water. Therefore, when we do not have a guarantee that the water supplied will always be crystal clear, we recommend using JUDO mechanical filters with EASY FILT backwash for the entire facility. These filters are easy to install and for a relatively low price provide security for much more expensive devices throughout your home.

An important feature of the filter with a backwash system is that it does not require unscrewing the entire body as with a classic housing with a cartridge. This saves a lot of time and does not require troublesome unscrewing and reassembly, thus maintaining the durability of seals and screws, eliminating the risk of possible leaks.
