Relative and absolute measurement modes

When the instrument is turned on, it should be placed in any plane. The data displayed on it is the angle relative to the horizontal plane (the slope box has been calibrated to an absolute zero horizontal position before leaving the factory)

②Relative measurement

The slope field allows you to set a plane of any inclination as a reference plane and use this reference plane to measure the angles of other planes relative to that plane. The specific steps are as follows:

1. After turning on the device, place the inclinometer on the measuring reference surface (to display the angle relative to the horizontal plane).
2. Press the “Reset” button briefly and the value on the screen will change to “0,00°”
3. Place the inclination box on the plane to be tested, or rotate the reference plane by a certain angle. The value displayed on the screen is the angle relative to the reference plane.
