How to use the tare function

1. After turning on the device and the “000” result appears on the display, put a small blanket on the scale (not included).

2. Press the “TARE” button (targeting).

3. Place the animal on the scale and measure.

Notes

1. There is EVA (transport protection) protective foam on the bottom of the product; it should be removed before use to ensure measurement accuracy.

2. Significant deviations in the weight of the animal can indicate health problems; in this case, you should go to the veterinarian.

3. In the case of weighing dogs, the dimensions of the animal should be checked before placing an order. If the product will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries and store them separately.

4. The device should be used on a hard and flat surface. Measurements on carpet may be inaccurate.

5. For weighing items weighing 2,2 to 11 lb (approx. 1 to 5 kg) first turn on the device and wait for the message “000” to be displayed before placing a weighted object on it; objects or animals weighing more than 11 lb can be placed on the scale directly.

6. The device will turn off automatically if no button is pressed within a minute or load changes. 7. Before use, please carefully read the instruction manual and pay special attention to the safety information contained therein.

8. Please take into account slight color differences resulting from lighting when taking photos and an error margin of 1 to 3 cm resulting from manual measurement; please make sure this is acceptable before placing your order.
