Oxeo ORS electrolytes are a powder for the preparation of oral irrigation fluid with orange flavor. Oxeo ORS electrolytes are a combination of glucose and electrolytes with an osmolarity of 245mOsm/l.

Indications for use:

For dietary management in the case of water-electrolyte imbalances that may occur in states of dehydration of the body during diarrhea, vomiting and excessive sweating caused by increased physical exertion and heat.

Ingredients:

Glucose, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, citric acid, orange flavour, sweeteners: sucralose, acesulfame K. Osmolarity 245mOsm/l.

100g of product contains:

energy value 1496kJ/299kcal, fat 0g (including: saturated fatty acids 0g), carbohydrates 65g (including: sugars 64g), protein 0g, salt 21,4g, sodium 8,57g, chlorides 10,95g, potassium 3,8g, glucose 64,28g, citrate 11,42g.

100ml of solution prepared according to the recommendations contains:

sodium 0,18g, chlorides 0,23g (57,5%)*, potassium 0,08g (8%)*, glucose 1,35g, citrate 0,24g.

Recommended dose and method of use:

1. Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 200ml of water.
2. The liquid should be administered in small portions at small intervals during the first 3-4 hours of irrigation.
3. The liquid should not be sweetened or mixed with milk preparations and juices.
4. Children up to 15kg: 4 sachets (800ml of prepared liquid).
5. Children over 15kg and adults: 6 sachets (1200ml of prepared liquid).
6. After this time for maintenance irrigation, the liquid prepared according to the above recipe should be administered in portions of 100ml after each bowel movement or vomiting.
