✅ Connecting the antenna with the amplifier

▶ Mount the antenna outside — preferably as high as possible, e.g. on the mast, balcony or facade.

▶ Set the antenna to the nearest DVB-T / DVB-T2 transmitter.

▶ Connect the 20 dB antenna amplifier to the antenna output.

▶ Then connect the antenna cable.

▶ At the end of the cable, mount the 12 V power supply with separator and connect it to electricity.

▶ Connect the output from the separator to the TV or DVB-T2 decoder.

▶ Run automatic DVB-T / DVB-T2 channel search.

✅ How to set up an antenna to receive MUX-8

The TAMDEL TAZ-08 antenna has two reception paths:

• larger VHF dipole – used to receive MUX-8

• smaller UHF dipole – used to receive MUX-1 / MUX-2 / MUX-3 / MUX-4

If MUX-8 is transmitted in vertical polarization at a given location:

▶ Turn the larger VHF dipole 90° – position it vertically.

▶ Do not rotate the entire antenna – just change the position of the VHF element.

▶ MUX-1 / MUX-2 / MUX-3 / MUX-4 channels will continue to be received in horizontal polarization.

▶ The pictures below show the horizontal and vertical setting of the VHF element.
