How to use a diagnostic smoke?

Step 1 – Refill the test fluid

Pour about 15 ml of oil/smoke generation fluid into the tank of the device.

Step 2 – Connect the power

Connect the device terminals to the 12 V DC battery:

• red clamp → positive pole (+)
• black clamp → negative pole (-)

Once connected, the device is ready to go.

Step 3 – Connect the chip

Connect the smoke pipe to the element or wire you want to check for tightness. Use the included sealing adapters if needed.

Then:

• turn on the device,
• Activate the smoke generation function.

Step 4 – Leak detection

The test system will be filled with thick smoke. Observe the places where the smoke comes out – they indicate:

• leaky wires,
• damaged gaskets,
• cracks in the components,
• leaky connections.
