Happy Cat VET Diet Struvit for adult cats, dissolving struvite stones and preventing their recurrence, and for cats suffering from lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). The food is also suitable for cats suffering from lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). This wet food contains exceptionally high-value protein and is characterized by a reduced content of magnesium, phosphorus, and urine acidifying properties, which results in a significant reduction in the urine pH value. A slightly increased sodium content, through greater water absorption, causes flushing of the urinary tract.

Hints:

• Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended before using or extending the period of use.
• For optimal dissolving effect of stones, only this type of feed should be used. Supplementary food should be discussed with your veterinarian.
• The transition to appropriate complementary feed should, where possible, take place in 10 % of steps over a period of at least 2-4 weeks.
• To prevent the formation of struvite stones, you need to mix the feed in a ratio of 1:1 (after ? portions) with normal Happy Cat dry food. Urine pH should be checked regularly.
• Unless your veterinarian tells you otherwise, you should give a few small meals a day.
• The amount of feed should be adapted to the individual metabolism of the animal and, if necessary, must be reduced or increased.
• Water for drinking should be provided continuously.
• Recommended feeding period: to dissolve struvite stones - five to twelve weeks. To prevent the recurrence of struvite stones use up to six months.
• When mixing with Happy Cat VET Diet Struvit dry food, pay attention to: 100 g of wet food corresponds to 21 g of dry food.
• Serve food at room temperature.
