A professional tool that is perfect wherever it is necessary to precisely tighten screws with a specific torque. The T27 series keys are a novelty of Jonnesway, which replaces the extremely popular T07 series.

1. Setting the moment value

Move the lock switch towards the handle (Fig. 1).

- by turning the handle in a clockwise direction, lead to the vertical line covering on the base scale with a line denoting ‘0’ on the auxiliary scale. The key is set for the lowest value visible on the base scale, e.g. 100Nm (Fig. 2).

- in order to increase the set moment by the value from the auxiliary scale, continue spinning the handle to cover the vertical line on the basic scale with the line denoting the selected value on the pomocniczej.Klucz scale is set for the sum of the values from the auxiliary and basic scales, e.g. 106Nm (Fig. 3).

- move the lock switch towards the rattle (Fig. 4) until the handle is locked. Check the correctness of the handle lock. NOTE: Improper locking of the handle may lead to damage to the key.

2. Use of torque wrench

After setting the desired moment, press the key handle until you hear the sound “click” NOTE: still do not press – the possibility of damage to the key or deformation of the tightened element!

The force with which the key is pressed should be adjusted to the value of the set moment – the greater the moment set, the greater the force should be used.

- after using the key, set the minimum torque value.

Comments:

- T27 series wrenches are used only for tightening screws with right thread!

- the wrench must not be used to unscrew screws and as a ratchet.

- the first time you use or after a long period of not using the key, you should pre-use the key several times to lubricate the mechanism.

- when the wrench is not in use, set the minimum torque value to loosen the screw.

- the key must not be cleaned with gasoline or solvent.

Each key of the T27 series is calibrated according to PN-EN ISO 6789 and its accuracy is 4%.

It is recommended to check the key at least once a year or every 5000 operations.
