USB or XLR? You choose

A double connector is not a gadget – it’s a map for the future. USB to Plug & Play without any stars: USB-C cable included, plug in, computer sees microphone, start recording. No drivers, no configuration, no “why it doesn’t work”. In USB mode, you also have access to all functions: sensitivity and volume control, mute, listening from the microphone. XLR comes into play if you already have or decide to add an audio interface or mixer. In analog mode, Qube gives control to the interface – with such a combo Qube will make you a real millet. Your voice. Not your room

A dynamic capsule with supercardioid characteristics sounds technical, works simply: the microphone focuses heavily on one source – you – and cuts out what comes from the sides and back. PC noise, loud fridge, noise outside the window? Background. The dynamic microphone handles unadapted interiors much better than capacitive ones, and higher voice expression is simply not a problem – you can speak up, get excited, SCREAM INTO THE MICROPHONE. A pop thick foam filter is added to the set, which eliminates explosive sounds – those “p” and “b”, through which the recordings sound like you are beating the microphone (and the listener) with a flip. Fewer problems at the entrance, less digging into post-production. There is only one rule: speak to the tip of the microphone from a distance of 10 to 20 cm – the rest happens on its own.

Gain without minimizing

Voice sensitivity adjustment should be quick and convenient, which is why the Krux Qube is equipped with a large sensitivity control knob located directly on the front of the microphone. No going into Windows settings, no looking for a slider in streaming software, no interrupting the recording. One hand movement is enough to adjust the level of signal amplification to the situation.

Mute faster than Alt+Tab

Your dog just started barking. Mom's calling from the hall. You feel a coughing attack coming. The touch mute button does what it’s supposed to do: mutes silently – no click on the recording – and lights up red, so you always know it’s muted. You don’t have to minimize the window, look for the icon in the system or say “hey, wait a minute”. Touch, red, silence. One move, no chaos.

Hear yourself without delay

The built-in 3,5mm headphone jack allows you to listen directly without delay, so you can control your sound on an ongoing basis. Additional volume control allows you to conveniently control the level of sound played from your computer. Why? Because there's nothing worse than finding out from the chat that they've barely heard you for the last half hour. Or that you can hear every click of the keyboard. With direct listening, you know right away – and you react instead of explaining yourself after the fact.

Setup your way

RGB backlighting at the base of the microphone allows you to match its appearance to the rest of the station. You can change the colors and backlight effects or turn off RGB completely by holding the button for three seconds. Whether you like a position that glows like a victory screen after the ranking or you’re betting on a more subdued look, the choice is yours.

Not just at the desk

Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, PS4, PS5 – Qube doesn’t ask about the platform, Qube just records. Works with computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones with USB-C connector and audio interfaces via XLR. The USB-C cable and USB-A adapter are included, so you don't need any additional accessories for your basic connection. And yes – you can take it with you: a smartphone with USB-C is enough to record also outside the home.
