➡ BETA ALANINE Intense contains beta-alanine with taurine. Beta-Alanine is a component of the carnosine dipeptide (beta-alanyl-L-histidine), whose biosynthesis depends on the availability of beta-alanine as a substrate. Carnosine buffers the pH drop associated with m.in. with the formation of lactic acid in the muscles during exercise. Therefore, taking beta-alanine reduces physical fatigue. There was also an increase in the total amount of work performed at maximum power (effort).
