• Point the thermometer at the center of the forehead at a distance of 0-5 cm.
• Press the measurement/power button. After about 1 second, the thermometer will begin to vibrate and make sounds, confirming the results are displayed.

1. If during the measurement the distance is greater than about 5 cm, "0-5" will appear on the display. Then bring the thermometer closer to the forehead.
2. If during the measurement, the distance is less than about 5 cm, the device will automatically measure, start vibrating and make a sound, and then display the measurement result.
3. If the temperature is 37,6 degrees Celsius or higher, the thermometer will make a quick, three-fold sound.
