The RouterBoard cAP ac platform is an access point from MikroTik operating simultaneously in the 2,4GHz and 5GHz bands.
Discreet appearance makes this device applicable in public places – hospitals, hotels, airports, shops, etc.
cAPGi-5acD2nD operates in 802.11ac/a/b/g/n standards, supporting 2x2 MIMO dual polarization.
The bandwidth of the device in the 2,4 GHz band is up to 300 Mb/s, and in 5 GHz up to 866 Mb/s.
The device is powered by passive (17-57V) or active (802.3af/at) PoE.
The offered product has a efficient, 4-core IPQ-4018 processor with a clock speed of 716 MHz and 128 MB of RAM. An additional advantage is 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports. The second port has a passive PoE output, which allows easy network expansion – we can power another device, e.g. cAP-2nD.
The set includes 2 types of housing, one designed for ceiling mounting and the other for wall mounting.
It is an ideal application for the CAPsMAN controller, which allows you to centrally manage all access points from one place.
Unlike traditional software controllers, which require a separate PC/MAC to work, CAPsMAN works on any RouterBOARD device, so no separate machine with a controller is required.
Everything you need for assembly is included with the unit – ceiling/wall mount, PoE adapter, power supply, and even screws and mounting pins.
