Huawei AP361 eKitEngine series access point supporting Wi-Fi 6 standard

It supports IEEE b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2,4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax protocols in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical bandwidth is 574 Mbps in 2,4 GHz and 1201 Mbps in 5 GHz, respectively. The device supports MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmission and reception of data from multiple users) and BSS (transmission marking to reduce interference). The access point has a Smart antenna, the design of which consists of many elements that can work independently. Antenna components, depending on your needs, can modify the shape of the main beam and adapt to connected clients. The AP361 enclosure has been adapted for mounting on a wall, ceiling or guide rail with a T-groove. The device has a 1 gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which at the same time serves as a PoE power input in the IEEE 802.3 af standard.

The offered product can work in several modes: Fat AP, Fit AP or Cloud. In Fat AP mode, the device works as an independent, you can configure it like a regular wireless router. Wireless Wi-Fi 6 AX1800

AP361 is designed to transmit Wi-Fi 6 wireless network, supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2,4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical bandwidth is 574 Mbps in 2,4 GHz and 1201 Mbps in 5 GHz, respectively. This speed is quite sufficient for most applications that a user can take on the Internet, including watching 4K videos online, playing games or downloading large files.

The access point also uses many additional functions that positively affect the quality of the network. MU-MIMO allows you to simultaneously transmit and receive data from multiple clients, which allows you to remove the phenomenon of data queuing. a Beamforming is used to shape the beam to improve connection to devices at the edge of range.

Gigabit Ethernet port, PoE power

The offered product is equipped with 1 gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which simultaneously serves as a PoE power input, supports IEEE 802.3 af standard. The maximum power consumption is only 8,8 W.

Advanced wireless system

The offered product is adapted to work in a large wireless system consisting of multiple access points. Smart Antennas

The access point has Smart antennas, the antenna design consists of many elements that can work independently of each other. Antenna components, depending on your needs, can modify the shape of the main beam to bring the best possible range to connected customers. The device adapts to radio conditions and provides much better signal coverage than APs equipped with ordinary omnidirectional antennas. The energy gain is 4 dBi in the 2,4 GHz band and 5 dBi in 5 GHz.

Up to 128 customers

Huawei AP361 can handle up to 128 client devices connected simultaneously. The eKitEngine series APs are perfect for locations where multiple users are located, or potentially may be, in the eKitEngine series. This access point supports the basic function - bandwidth control and 5 GHz (5G-priority) priority setting. Client devices are mainly connected in the 5 GHz band to provide them with the best possible bandwidth. As a result, the load and interference in the 2,4 GHz band are significantly reduced.

Three modes of operation

The access point can operate in four modes:

• Fat AP - the access point works independently, configuring and managing looks similar to standard wireless routers. It will work in small networks where you only use one AP.
• Cloud AP - In this access point mode, you can manage from the cloud platform. This platform greatly facilitates the monitoring of work and conducting preconfigurations, and does not require the use of additional management devices.
• Fit AP - this is the basic mode of operation in which the access point connects to the controller.

Numerous applications

Huawei AP361 will work as a basic access point in networks where AX1800 bandwidth is sufficient. You can apply it to locations with a stable number of users, e.g. in homes or offices. When installing in conference rooms and other places where there may be a significant increase in users periodically, it is better to use the High density access point, e.g. A362. AP361 is distinguished by a very good price-quality ratio. At a relatively low cost, you can create an extensive wireless network using Wi-Fi 6 and many modern features.
