For advanced installations, this high-speed access point has integrated support for 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) to allow installation in places where electrical outlets are not readily available.

Wireless speeds up to 108 Mbps

The DWL-3200AP delivers extremely reliable wireless performance with standard wireless transmission speeds of 802.11g up to 54Mbps. It has the added capability to achieve a maximum wireless signal speed of up to 108Mbps (Turbo mode) thanks to D-Link 108G technology. At the same time, DWL-3200AP remains fully compatible with IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards.

Support WDS (Wireless Distribution System)

To maximize your total return on investment, the DWL-3200AP can be configured to act as an access point (AP mode), point-to-point bridge, or point-to-multipoint bridge (WDS mode). In WDS mode, the DWL-3200AP only communicates with wireless bridges, not allowing wireless clients or stations to access them.

Advanced wireless network security

As wireless network security remains an important concern for businesses, DWL-3200AP provides the latest wireless network security technologies, supporting both WPA Enterprise and 802.1x to ensure full network protection. In addition, the DWL-3200AP is now ready to support the 802.11i to fully support industrial-grade wireless network security.

Advanced network management

Network administrators can manage all DWL-3200AP settings through a web-based configuration tool or through Telnet. For advanced network management, administrators can use D-Link or D-View SNMP's AP Manager management module to configure and manage multiple access points from a single location. In addition to a streamlined management process, network administrators can also verify and perform regular maintenance checks without wasting resources by sending staff to physically verify proper operation.
