Innovative Wi-Fi 6 (WLAN AX) for a home network with multiple WLAN terminal devices

The new Wi-Fi 6 standard takes into account the ever-increasing number of WLAN devices. From smartphones, tablets, computers, 4K TVs and speakers to a smart lamp. More and more devices are being used at the same time in the WLAN. By reducing latency, Wi-Fi 6 ensures fast and stable data flow. In total, the bandwidth of 2.400 MBit/s in the 5 GHz band and 600 MBit/s in the 2,4 GHz band is available for many parallel applications. High bandwidth Wi-Fi 6 also provides longer runtime for mobile devices on your home network.

As a WLAN mesh control panel, the FRITZ!Box 6660 is designed to meet the highest demands of your home network. WLAN mesh is distributed over a WLAN (e.g. FRITZ!Box and some FRITZ! Mesh) merged into one smart WLAN. FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable creates a mesh master of the mesh WLAN and controls all other access points so that WLAN end devices used in the home network are always reported to the access point with the best connection (WLAN mesh Steering).

Telephony options for every application

The integrated TK VoIP system has a connector for an analogue phone and a DECT base station for up to six wireless phones (e.g. all FRITZ!Fon models). Using WLAN, IP phones and smartphones are also a full-fledged phone on the connector. Thanks to the integrated answering machine, local textbooks and online manuals, as well as numerous functions that improve the comfort of telephone conversations, also in a professional environment, they leave nothing to be desired. Using the DECT radio, FRITZ!Box also controls Smarthome devices, i.e. Switchable FRITZ!DECT 200 and 210 sockets and FRITZ!DECT 301 smart heater controller.
