Why is the 8:1:1 ratio better than mass products with a classic 2:1:1 ratio? Due to the metabolic signaling of amino acids and competition for absorption after ingestion in the body. In this case, excessive isoleucine means a significant inhibition of leucine activity. As you probably know, leucine is the most effective amino acid out of the three BCAAs, so products containing 10, 15, or even 20 grams of BCAA 2:1:1 may be less effective than those with an ideal ratio and lower isoleucine content, such as Cryo Cell.
