The multi-stage charging algorithm is designed to optimize all charging cycles and maintain a charge for extended periods.

✅ Adaptive Absorption

Adaptive Absorption monitors the battery's response during initial charging and intelligently determines the correct absorption time for each individual charge cycle. This ensures the battery is fully charged regardless of its discharge level or capacity, and avoids excessive time at elevated absorption voltage (which can accelerate battery aging).

✅ Temperature Compensation

Charging voltage is automatically adjusted based on ambient temperature. This ensures the battery is charged at the optimal voltage regardless of climate conditions, eliminating the need for manual setting adjustments.

In Lithium-ion battery charging mode, temperature compensation is not required and is automatically disabled.

The Blue Smart charger series is up to 95% efficient, resulting in lower energy consumption and less heat generation.

✅ Durability and Safety

Designed for years of reliable, trouble-free operation in all conditions. Over-temperature protection: output current is reduced if the charger's temperature rises to 50°C. Integrated cooling fan keeps the charger cool in demanding conditions, eliminating the need to reduce output current. Short circuit protection: the charger shuts down immediately if a short circuit is detected. Reverse polarity protection: if the charger is connected to the battery with reversed polarity, a replaceable fuse will blow.

✅ Silent Operation

When the cooling fan is off, the charger operates completely silently; the fan only turns on when needed.

When NIGHT mode or LOW current mode is activated, the maximum output current is reduced to 50% of the rated value, and the cooling fan will always remain off.

✅ Suitable for Lithium-ion Batteries

This device is compatible with Lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries. When the LI-ION charging mode is selected, the charging cycle settings are adjusted accordingly.

If the charger is connected to a battery that has triggered undervoltage protection (UVP), the Blue Smart charger will automatically reset the UVP and begin charging; many other chargers do not recognize this battery state.
