Neutral Shampoo with Carnauba Wax for Cars 2 in 1 Wash Wax

Ordinary, alkaline shampoo cleans effectively, but also washes off previously applied wax or protective coating – and after a few washes, the varnish again catches water with amphibians instead of pearling it into drops. The result: you have to apply the wax again and again.

Wash&Wax from GRASS was conceived differently – washes and refreshes the protection at the same time, instead of removing it.

Its properties:

• Neutral pH of the formula – which means that the shampoo is safe for previously applied waxes and ceramic coatings, so you do not have to choose between a clean varnish and maintaining protection.

The most common doubts – before you ask

Will it wash off previously applied wax or ceramic coating like other shampoos? No – this is what distinguishes this product from typical alkaline shampoos. The neutral pH has been selected specifically so as not to remove existing protections, and carnauba wax in the formula additionally refreshes them with each wash.

Does the wax in the shampoo give the same effect as a separate application of wax in the paste? Not exactly – it’s more of a refreshment and maintaining shine between full waxings than a replacement for a dedicated wax paste. If you care about maximum durability of protection, it is still worth applying wax separately from time to time, and treat Wash&Wax as a product to regularly maintain the effect between such sessions.

Is it only suitable for hand washing, or can it be used in a foamer? It can be used in both variants – both for classic sponge and bucket washing, as well as using a foamer or pressure washer with a foam feeder.

Will it not irritate the skin of the hands when washing without gloves? The formula is gentle on the skin, so washing with bare hands should not cause irritation – despite this, with prolonged contact, it is worth simply rinsing your hands with water after washing, as with any cleaning agent.

Does it leave streaks after drying, like some wax shampoos? The key is to thoroughly rinse the body after washing and avoid washing in full sun or on a hot varnish – then the product will not have time to dry unevenly, which is a standard rule with any shampoo with wax, not only this.

Method of use

• Do a pre-wash – preferably with an active foam (snow foam), which will loosen and partially wash away dirt before contact with a sponge or glove.
• Rinse the car with a stream of water to wash off the foam together with dissolved dirt and sand – this will prevent scratches during further washing.
• Pour a small amount of shampoo into a bucket of water (mix well)
• Wash the body with a sponge or a safe cleaning glove (e.g. microfiber), movements from top to bottom.
• Rinse the body thoroughly with clean water.
• It is best to wash in the shade, on a cool surface of varnish, not in full sun.
• Dry with safe microfiber.
