The dash cam can be connected in several ways. The most popular methods include using the fuse box, the cigarette lighter socket, or tapping into the wiring near the rearview mirror or interior light.

OPTION A: Cigarette Lighter Socket

• Pros: The simplest and fully reversible method, requiring no knowledge of electrical systems.
• How to do it: Simply plug the power adapter into the 12V socket and run the long cable under the headliner, A-pillar, and dashboard to the camera.
• Requirements: Standard car charger included with the camera.
• Cons: Visible cable around the center console and occupied cigarette lighter socket.

OPTION B: Fuse Box (Hardwire Kit)

• Pros: Aesthetic installation without hanging cables, ability to activate 24/7 parking mode, protection against battery discharge.
• How to do it: Use special adapters (so-called bypasses/fuse taps) that plug into the fuse box. The red wire (ACC) connects to ignition power, the yellow wire (VCC) to constant power (optional), and the black wire (GND) to the vehicle's metal ground.
• Requirements: Power kit with a voltage adapter (Hardwire Kit - preferably dedicated to your car).

OPTION C: Rearview Mirror or Overhead Light

• Pros: Very short cable run, ideal for hiding wires close to the windshield and camera.
• How to do it: Tap into the power harness of the overhead light or active mirror (e.g., electrochromic). Ready-made "plug and play" adapters often used for specific car models fit between the factory plug and the mirror.
• Requirements: Voltage meter to find the correct wires (ground and 12V/5V via a reducer).
