Maxi-Cosi AxissFix is a new quality in the children's safety segment. The innovative AxissFix system rotates in the full 360° range, providing parents with maximum comfort. This child car seat meets the requirements of the latest European i-Size standard and can be used to transport infants rear-facing for better head and neck protection.

Assembly

The Maxi-Cosi AxissFix can be installed in your car using ISOFIX hooks and the Top Tether belt, making installation safe and practical. Refer to the user manual or read our checklist to learn how to use ISOFIX attachments correctly. After attaching the AxissFix seat with ISOFIX hooks in the car, attach the Top Tether belt to the anchorage point in the vehicle. Thanks to this, the seat will be stable and will provide the child with maximum safety. And fastening the child in the seat is even easier thanks to the ability to turn the seat and position it facing each other.

External crash testing centres, such as the German automotive organisation ADAC (Allgemeneir Deutscher Automobil-Club), have tested the AxissFix car seat for dynamic safety and ease of use. The seat got a good rating. The Maxi-Cosi AxissFix car seat complies with the latest European i-Size safety standard, providing better protection in the event of a side collision. This means that the AxissFix provides optimal protection for the head, neck and body, while allowing the child to be transported rear-facing up to 87 cm tall (about 2 years). Rear-facing positioning is considered the safest way to transport babies. The AxissFix child car seat can be easily and securely attached with ISOFIX attachments, which in combination with the Top Tether belt limiting forward movement further increases safety. Special indicators confirm the correct fastening of the seat with ISOFIX hooks and the appropriate tension of the Top Tether belt. The AxissFix seat headrest features impact-absorbing material for added protection. To ensure maximum safety, we have equipped our AxissFix swivel car seat with three additional functions: 5-point integrated seat belts; non-slip shoulder pads for high holding efficiency in the event of a frontal collision, as well as an automatic seat belt to ensure that the seat is properly attached to the base.
